Announcement: Important change in our product range: My Podologie is ceasing distribution of Poderm products!
Dear podiatrists,
We would like to inform you of a difficult decision we have made at My Podologie.
As you know, we were the only podiatry distributor to offer you the full range of Poderm products, right from the start. Indeed, we played a significant role in the development and implementation of these products among podiatrists.
It is therefore with a mixture of nostalgia and regret that we send you this statement.
Effective February 1, 2024, we will cease distributing Poderm brand products . This decision stems from the significant price increase imposed by the manufacturer, a measure we find difficult to justify.
Despite numerous negotiations that have lasted for more than 3 months, the new commercial management of the Poderm laboratory preferred to put an end to more than 6 years of relations and partnerships.
Indeed, the podiatry market is no longer large enough, and the new challenges are shifting towards pharmacies! Once again, the profits of a commercial company have prevailed over podiatrists.
Furthermore, although the law prohibits a manufacturer from imposing its selling price, many suppliers do so anyway, and if you do not comply, they increase the purchase price to force you to do so.
My Podologie can no longer condone such practices. It is no longer acceptable to exploit French podiatrists to launch a product and gain recognition, only to abandon them once the business is well established and running smoothly in pharmacies! The new, excessive pricing policy implemented by the Poderm laboratory is a perfect example of this.
We understand the impact this may have on your practice and are aware of the importance of protecting podiatrists' purchasing power. As a company dedicated to your success, we made this decision after careful consideration in order to maintain the quality of our services while preserving your access to essential products at the best price.
We will continue to offer Poderm products while supplies last. Once our stock is depleted, you will no longer be able to purchase these products on our website, but we will be offering an alternative range very soon.
We will continue to seek partnerships with manufacturers who share our values and offer quality solutions at reasonable prices.
